The sun has been shining the last couple of days, much better for photographs, so here is the third project we made at the Brisbane Papercraft Convention, the Tri-Shutter Album. The talented Kim Gavarra, a SU Demonstrator from Brisbane showed us how to make this gorgeous album using the lovely SU Twitterpated DSP collection.
The bellyband is made using the Twitterpated designer fabic, with seam-binding ribbon wrapped around and topped with Apothecary Art and SU's new framelets.
This is the inside (partly open) decorated with co-ordinating papers from the collection. On both the front and back inside covers, we have used pleated satin ribbon in Blushing Bride and Baja Breeze for embellishment.
This shows the inside opened out, which is made from two tri-shutter cards adhered symmetrically to a centre panel. The middle blue panel lifts up to allow a couple more photographs to be added. The ribbon around the top is the seam-binding ribbon again.
This album would make an ideal gift to display some treasured special occasion photos.
It's been rather topsy-turvy in our household the last few days, but I'll be back soon to show the last of the Brisbane projects, the "Busy Book for a Busy Life", just a few bits'n pieces and it will be finished.
Have a crafty day!

What a wonderful project Helen! I really like this Twitterpated range and I love the mix of fabric and paper on the album. Thank you for your comment yesterday - you're right, life is never dull with children but I could have done with it being ever so slightly duller yesterday! Vicky x
