Boots

Whenever I send a swap to anyone, whether it is within Australia or overseas,

I like to enclose it in a card.  

Not only do I feel it's a little something extra, 

but it helps protect the contents.

On the current Stampotique Designers Challenge, we are asked to use our favourite stamp.

Hmmm ..... which would that be, as there are so many that become my favourite.

So as I was making a card to enclose a swap, 

I decided to use one of my favourites and I will add it to the challenge.

"Boots"

I stamped "Boots" on white cardstock and coloured her with various pencils, leaving her dress blank.  I then stamped her again onto patterned paper which was perfect with it's small design, and fussy cut around the dress.  I coloured the collar, heart and dots with a red gelli pen before the dress was glued in place.

The background was an experimental piece of cardstock lying on my desk which had been made using ink and bubble wrap.  
To finish off, "Boots" is standing on a strip of glittery washi tape and a small piece was also added to the top for balance.

A pink border layer was added before adhering to a folded A5 card.
