Inky Puss

I have been playing around with Ken Oliver 'Color Burst' powder paints recently, just seeing how the different colours react with each other.  With this card I lay a stencil over white card stock, sprinkled some powder and then spritzed it.  As I lifted the stencil, some of the paint took on the shape while the colour seeped under other parts, however this was what I was left with once it had dried.

At 'Simply Less is More' this week, the challenge is
One Layer Card - Splatters

I wanted a solid image stamp for this card, so went with this delightful pussy from Katzelkraft.  The words are from a magazine freebie that I came across in my stash recently when I was looking for something else.

As this is one layer, I felt it needed something extra, so I scored a border around the edges.

  1. This looks fantastic. I love the way some splatters are defined and others are not. It gives an incredibly artistic, 'loose' feel which really works. Great LIM card!
